Dr. Bettin is an internationally respected consultant, researcher and educator in the field of leadership and management development. He has designed and delivered leadership development programs for a variety of healthcare, telecommunications, engineering, aerospace, manufacturing, and service organizations as well as government agencies. Dr. Bettin has delivered leadership programs in the United States, Australia, Japan, Great Britain, Latin America, and the Middle East. He has received recognition for outstanding performance as both a leader and a teacher of leadership.
During his military career he was the recipient of the William O. Darby Award as the Distinguished Honor Graduate of the Army’s prestigious Ranger School, has been decorated for valor twice, and was awarded two Purple Hearts for wounds received in combat. In 1986, he was the youngest army officer selected for promotion to the rank of Colonel. Dr. Bettin is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Washington and a ten-time winner of the “Excellence in Teaching Award” from the University of Washington Business School.
